We are a group of crocheters from all around Canada and
the United States (hopefully in the future all around the world!) who use our talents to bless those in our own neighbourhoods
with the items that we create.
I created Angels Touch Crochet in June of 2007 to give crocheters of
all skill level a place to work together. I don't collect any items from members. We don't have just one charitable organization
or cause that we work for. There are so many disadvantaged people and groups in this world that it is a shame to choose just
one and exclude the rest. So, what we do is just a bit different.
Each month we will have a different item that we will all work on. We
work together as a group and as a team to complete as many items as we can in a month, then at the end of that month, we all
take our creations to the charitable organization of our choice and donate them. This way we are able to bless so many people
in our own neighbourhoods! It's a wonderful feeling!
Periodically something will come up, some sort of natural or social
disaster, or something will move the heart of a member and we will all pull together to make a specific item for that organization.
This is purely optional and certainly not a pre-requisite for membership.
